JACKSON PARK, HENDERSONVILLE, NC Do you wake up on Tuesday and Friday mornings wondering what you are going to do? If you are over 50 years of age, there is an answer. Come to Jackson Park and join a group of softball players in your age group for a few hours of good times. You will see enthusiasm and occasional flashes of skill. The former is a more of a requirement than the latter. The players range in age from 50 to 70+. They may be native North Carolinians or transplants to this wonderful mountain area. There are many accents but all share a love of the game and the fellowship that we enjoy. While we play in Hendersonville, living in Henderson County is not a requirement. We have players from Buncombe, Transylvania, and Polk Counties and from South Carolina.  |
